Johnson & Johnson just released a fitness app that features the popular 7 Minute Workout designed by Chris Jordan, director of exercise physiology at the Human Performance Institute Division of Wellness & Prevention, Inc. Users can also modify 12 additional workouts to customize and create more than 1,000 variations that require nothing more than a wall, a chair, and a little bit of floor space.
The high-intensity aerobic and resistance training in the 7 Minute Workout uses only body weight and limited rest, and according to J&J’s news release, is scientifically proven to provide better results than traditional programs in much less time. The app features over 30 minutes of video featuring Chris Jordan, over 20 intensity levels, personalized challenge levels, and is designed for all fitness levels, from beginners to professional athletes. Best of all, it’s free.
The 7 Minute Workout App is available from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It will also be available on Android from the Google Play store on January 21.
